Antique Egyptian Revival Enamel Conversion Necklace

Ancient Egyptians believed the scarab faced god, Khepri caused the sun to rise each day, and as such, scarabs are an ancient symbol of renewal, creation, and rebirth.

This necklace was converted from an antique pin (circa 1910) by removing the pin findings and adding a 14k gold chain. The pendant features a winged scarab of 18k gold, adorned in white, blue and red enamel.

The pendant measures 0.65 inches by 1.5 inches wide. The total necklace length is 18 inches.
